Total assets ≥$1M plus identified Thai investment commitment ≥$500k.

Pension award letter / annuity documentation showing ≥$80,000/yr passive income.

Employment contract from well-established overseas company plus 2 years of pay statements ≥$80k/yr.

Employment in BOI's S-curve target industries + diploma + specialty credentials.

Choose one: $50,000 health insurance coverage, OR maintained $100,000 bank balance for 12+ months, OR Thai social security enrollment.

Police clearance / background check from country of citizenship.

BOI reviews and issues an Endorsement Letter. 4–8 week typical processing.

With Endorsement Letter, apply for the LTR visa at either the consulate or Thai Immigration Bureau.

LTR fee.

5-year LTR stamp in passport. Work permit included.

LTR replaces 90-day reporting with annual reporting.

Apply for 5-year renewal subject to maintained qualification thresholds.
